so it's good friday again. and once again, we are celebrating the holiday. just because it's given. but what's the reason behind the holiday?

let's go back to basics.

what is love?
you'll be stupid if you think that bumping into a random guy/girl on the streets and feeling whatever hollywood shows you in movies is what true love is. just so you know. movies are scripted. they are written with SOME experiences, but most of it is from the imaginations of the scriptwriter, how the director intends to bring it out to the audience, the dop's lighting to create whatever shit mood. but yes. you get the point. every little fake part of this so called little experience will just increase to a ridiculous love movie.

so my definition of love follows the one in the bible, because God is love, and love came from Him. without Him, no one would know what love is. and what it is like to sacrifice for someone you truly love. it's truly the greatest gift of all. i cant imagine how the world would be without love. war, war, war and more war. I WILL NOT GO TO HELL BECAUSE I DONT WANT TO LIVE IN A PLACE WITHOUT LOVE. but if i could exchange my place in heaven, so that one of my loved ones can get out of hell, i would gladly do that.

God's love for us is that we can be reunited with Him, through one person. but Jesus had to suffer that much just for us. i admit right now. i am not worth the pain that He went through for me. i know that i am sinful, in fact, more sinful than ever. but He still loves me the same. after breaking His heart again and again, i'm still forgiven. that is the greatest love anyone can find. it's overflowing.

my definition of love is found in 1 cor 13:4-7. and people will always add in the first line of 8, without reading on. love never fails. but where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled. where there is knowledge, it will pass away. THAT IS THE FULL 1cor13:8. just saying.
