Why is it that guys get to die earlier?

long long ago, when i was still oh-so naive, i would think that this is so easy to solve. all you need to do is to get someone like. ten years younger than you. and today, it’s smack in my face saying “if you get a guy even 2years younger, there’s something wrong with you, dont even talk about TEN!”

and so then i thought. “then i’ll just get ten months!” but no. it doesnt work too. i mean. you dont die on your birthday. God doesnt say “hey, you are born on this very date, and you will come back to me exactly 70years down the road.” once again, it failed.

and so, last year, or rather, 2years back, i watched a hk drama. one of the lines the guy said to the girl was “ngor san tai bei nei ho ah, nei sei dak bei ngor zo” i know you wont get it, so anyway, it means. i am healthier than you, you will die earlier than me. in a way, the guy is cursing the girl. but think about it the other way. you just dont want the other person to be left on earth to suffer alone. to be sad. with no one to rely on. it’s kind of taking the pain away from the other person. sigh.

i realised. every wake i’ve been to, cept for grandma and greatgrandma’s, they are like. all guys.

“man will always die before the woman, because they dont know how to take care of themselves, and the woman will continue living for a long time. but if the woman die first, then the man will die soon after, because they dont know how to take care of themselves” IFP LECTURER.

how true is that?
